Story
Thank you for visiting our Run4Autism fundraising page!
1 in 110 Australians are diagnosed with ASD, affecting their communication and social skills and how they cope with the world. Your support and money will change the lives of these kids and their families’ right here in the Territory!
Anyone who knows me is already aware that I have a passion for supporting Autism, with my two boys being my greatest motivation to spread awareness.
Run4Autism has allowed us this exciting opportunity to raise money for AutismNT; an extraordinary organisation located in the Northern Territory supporting children and families of those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. So far I have completed several events since starting this page including:
Blood Sweat and Fears 10km challenge
NT City2Surf 12km run
Mothers Day Classic 8km Fun Run
AND a group hike in the Katherine Gorge area, camping overnight along the approximately 35km trek. Our group included members of families as well as friends of those affected by Autism aiming spread awareness and support for Autism NT.
EXCITINGLY WE HAVE NOW ADDED TO OUR ADVENTURE LIST!!
My sister in law Jessica and I are committing to train hard for 'North Face' in May next year. North Face is a 50 or 100km adventure run through the blue mountains!!!
We are setting up to train hard so that we're ready to take on this incredible challenge and continue to spread awareness for Autism and fundraise for Autism NT.
